National minimum wage figures for UK employers. This data is updated whenever legislation changes. The hourly rate for the minimum wage depends on your age and whether you’re an apprentice.
April 2023
From April 2023 the rates will be:
- £10.42 - National Living Wage for workers 23 and over.
- £10.18 - the main rate for workers aged 21-22
- £7.49 - the 18-20 year olds rate (development rate)
- £5.28 - the 16-17 year olds rate (young workers)
- £5.28 - the apprentice rate
